About the Lodge

North Shore Lodge sits on nearly 200 acres at the mouth of Outlet Bay on Eagle Lake. We are well removed from the traffic of busy roadways yet easily accessible by vehicle. Our well - kept grounds face south on the lake, with beautiful views of the lake from our lodge and accommodations. All the buildings that comprise our facility are well spaced, giving a roomy, park-like feel.

Many who have visited our facility say it is one of the most picturesque they have seen. The dining room and lounge is perched on a hill with large picture windows overlooking the water and our marina. Here you will enjoy great home cooked meals, individually served by our wait staff. Our cook insists on preparing all the table fare from scratch, including bread, soup and pastry. No quick meal from a can or box here. Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee and a breakfast buffet consisting of eggs, (ham, bacon or sausage), hashbrowns, toast, (pancakes or french toast). fruit, cereal, and oatmeal.

Dinners include: prime rib, roast turkey, broasted chicken, rib eye steak, roasted pork loin and pasta with marinara sauce. For lunch, you can choose either shore lunch (a wilderness delicacy) or a sandwich box consisting of a large sub sandwich with condiments, potato chips and homemade dessert.

After supper you can opt for more fishing or relax in our lounge and enjoy your favorite beverage while watching satellite television. We also have a large selection of videos for your viewing pleasure, as well as a pool table, board games, touch screen video game and horseshoes. A large outdoor patio is situated just outside the main lodge and is a popular place for guests to gather and enjoy the evening air, the call of the loon, and reflect on the days events while overlooking beautiful Eagle Lake. 

NEW: Free wireless internet access.  Bring your own laptop or use the computer set up in the lounge for our guests to check your e-mails, weather, etc. 

Guests coming to North Shore Lodge have the option of driving to the lodge, flying to nearby Dryden, Ontario, or taking our Charter Bus Package. Our Charter Bus service leaves each Saturday from the Chicagoland area with pickups en-route. This no hassle trip has become very popular with large or small groups.

Our marina and boathouse are centrally located and are easily accessible by way of a gradually sloping roadway. Our dock staff is always at hand and are there to assist you in every way possible. We can assist those who have difficulty walking with door-to-door service via golf cart.
